I noticed none of the notification e-mails are being sent either to my customers or to myself. I entered notification and tried testing them, and I get: "Error e-mail not sent".
All of them were working perfectly 1-2 weeks ago. Also one of my custom e-mails either disappeared or was deleted...
My other e-mail plugins and contact forms are working perfectly to send emails and notifications, so it seems there is a problem with Amelia.
An issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:
Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
Your website has a PHP version of less than 7.
The credentials are not correct.
There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.
If you're using Gmail, please check out this article for detailed setup instructions.
Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're still not able to resolve the issue, we'll need to remote into your website, and see what's going on.
So I was able to figure this out. It was a problem created by the fact that I linked my titan email to a google account. So I had to create a 2 step verification password for that new google account, then create a password for the website app Amelia and reconfigure into Amelia settings. However, in the steps of reconfiguring SMTP in Amelia notifications, instead of using smtp.gmail.com I had to use smtp.titan.email. Hope that helps anyone in the future
