    Hello,

For a client who has 2 workplaces and also makes appointments online. His schedule is divided between these 2 locations. I created 2 services (online and physical). But when I selected an online appointment, which is available all week, in parallel with physical appointments, Amelia always offers me to choose between the 2 workplaces defined by their specific slots. How to fix this problem ?

I want online appointment to be independent of any schedule and location which make sense...

    Case:

He works from 3:30PM to 7:30PM Tuesdays and Wednesday to location B.

He works from 9AM to 7:30pm The rest of the week to location A.

He does online appointment from monday to saturday 9am to 7:30pm.

It does not works on sunday.

    Edit

I tried to create a new location called "Online" but I still have an issue with the schedule.

    Hello Martinez,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Amelia work like this if your employee is working on 2 locations then both locations will be offered always at the beginning of the booking form. Then based on chosen locations the dates an time slots fil be filtered out.

For example, if you set that your employee of working only on an online location on Monday then a customer who chooses an online location he will then see only Mondays as available for booking.

Also you can set it this way for example

Emplyoee is working on location A on Monday from 07 to 09 then he is working on locations B and A from 09 to 12 and then on locations B from 12 to 17

This all can be set up in employee work hours

    Hello,

Are you suggesting that online services are treated as a real physical location at the moment in Amelia ?

Meaning that I won't be able to have it running at the same time slots of others services ? Also when I select the online service, it requires a physical location to be selected, which doesn't make anysense...Can we agree  on that ?

This is a case I submitted earlier :

He works from 3:30PM to 7:30PM Tuesdays and Wednesday to location B.

He works from 9AM to 7:30pm The rest of the week to location A.

He does online appointment from monday to saturday 9am to 7:30pm.

It does not works on sunday.

From my understanding and from what I have already tested , I am not able to make it works.

    Thanks for clarifying.

"When I talk about online services I am refering to Zoom appointment  = virtual meeting." In case there was some confusion du to my english speaking ability.

    Hello Martinez,

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

Amelia works in this way, you can create an online location and a physical location, but when an employee is booked in an online location on Monday from 08 to 09, for example, he cannot be booked for that time slot (Monday from 08 to 09) on another location. So, when it is booked in one location, it cannot be booked in another location in that time slot. No matter if this is a physical or online location.

Hope this explains how Amelia is designed nad how Amelia works.

If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

    Hello,

I understand what you say but you are missing my point here.

This is a case I submitted earlier :

Employee works from 3:30PM to 7:30PM Tuesdays and Wednesday to location B.

Employee works from 9AM to 7:30pm The rest of the week to location A.

Employee does online service from monday to saturday 9am to 7:30pm.

The online service should be available at the same time of the other services.  I understood as you mentionned that they can't not be booked at the same time. That makes sense. But I only ask that they remain available at the same period of time.

1/ I am not able to setup the online service from 9am to 7:30pm on the Tuesdays and Wednesday.

2/In the front end when I pick the online service, it proposes me to choose between all the locations. That does not make any sense. An online service has no location.

It seems that a location can't not be assigned to a service. How does Amelia manage the online service (virtual location) ? You have a Zoom integration so I guess it is something that has been thought about.

Maybe you can try to setup the case I submitted to see and understand the issue that I am facing for a basic scenario.

    Thank you

    Hello Martinez,

You can set that your employee is available on several locations at the same time. But you can not achieve what you want, unfortunately. If you set up that your employee is working on 3 services on 3 locations then all locations will show.

    7821725290.png

    So you can set this

Employee works from 9AM to 7:30pm on location A and virtual on Monday then on Tuesdays and Wednesday

Employee works from 9AM to 3:30pm on location A and Virtual then you create new work period from 3.30 to 7.30om on location A and Virtual and B

Ans for the rest of the week just set Employee works from 9AM to 7:30pm on location A and virtual

This is how Amelia works and this is what you can set. THis is not what you want to achieve but this is what is possible at this time.

If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your help,

I understand that Amelia suits more with large business that manage severals employees working in differents locations.

But to be honest most of my clients (All of them, actually) are self employed, sometimes they can have several working places and most of the time they do virtual appointment online.

I found that Amelia does not easily fit with this type of business... (Which in in my sense is the more common)

There are many things that could be done to improve it.

I managed to create a process that is working but not ideal. For example I had to assign the different type of persons with specific price rate in the service option section. It is working but this is clearly a work around...

I hope that Amelia will improve and fit more for this type of business in the future...
