    What we need to happen is as follows:

    When an attendee which is currently booked is DECLINED by pressing the red radio button, we want an email notification to be sent to the attendee stating that his/her attendance is been declined.

    This is not happening. See attached document for full details

    Can you please make sure that event notifications are enabled in the notifications section? If they are we would need to log in and take a closer look.

    Morning,

    Yes – the event Notifications are all enabled and work the way they should.

    I have tested the entire process and all the Notification emails do what they are supposed to do and when they are supposed to.

    In addition: Whenever I cancel and event – All attendees receive an email notification to that avail.

    Hence the issue is not with the Event’s notifications. They work fine.

     The issue is when DECLINING a single attendee inside an event.:

    • 1)I Created an event.
    • 2)I populated the event with x3 attendees.
    • 3)All attendees received an event confirmation. So far so good.
    • 4)Then I opened the event and DECLINED one of the attendees. The popup message box reads:” Booking status has been changed to rejected”.
    • 5)The user who was rejected received an email saying the EVENT was CANCELLED.
    • 6)The other users did not receive a notification at all – This is an expected result. 

    CONCLUSION:

    • 7)When we cancel an event – all users receive a notification saying that the event was cancelled. works as expected.
    • 8)When declining a single attendee inside an event, that single attendee receives an email saying that the EVENT was cancelled.
    • 9)This means that when cancelling the event the Notification =  “Event Cancelled by Admin” was triggered.
    • This is an expected result and works as designed.
    • 10) This also means that when declining a single attendee listed inside an event,  the event  Notification = “Event Cancelled by Admin” is also triggered.
    • This is not an expected result and does not work as designed.

    In short: When declining an attendee, the notification “Event Cancelled by Admin” is triggered and that attendee receives an email saying that the whole event was cancelled when this is not the case. We did not cancel the event - we just decline a single attendee inside the event.

    What I think should happen is that when declining an attendee a notification called “Attendee declined by Admin” should be triggered instead as opposed to  “Event Cancelled by Admin”. 

    Then all declined attendees (when clicking the red radio button) should trigger the event called  “Attendee declined by Admin”
