Hi I am having a bit of a strange issue where after filling out booking information nothing is added to cart and cannot proceed to checkout using woocommerce - when logged in as admin the plugin works fine - adds to cart, proper meta data is passed and transaction completes as it should but it does not work for users who aren't logged in. Thought it may be a caching issue on server as when copied to a local install it works as it should for non logged in users but cache was cleared and disabled, and was in contact with support to clear any server caching in their side but the issue remained
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
We went on your site and we can not replicate the issue. We were able to proceed to checkout without any issues
So as far as we can see this is working fine.
As for metadata in Amelia/setting/payments you have the option to Set MetaData and Description
Just enter the placeholder for information that you want to be shown there and that is it.
If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.
From the screenshot below the product was added from the shop page and not via the booking form as all options are set up for deposit payment only. There is no issue with adding products from shop and checking out but this is not how it should be everything should go through amelia and create a booking
as mentioned below when I fill in the booking form on the homepage when logged in as admin everything works as it should, the form adds product to cart, it only bills for deposit amount and passes the correct data -
The issue is why cant a non logged in user go through the form and have the product added correctly, billing for deposit amount only and creating a booking ?
When this kind of issue occurs, where the product in WooCommerce is not displayed when the user is not logged in, this is due to some security measure from the hosting blocking the booking form from being displayed.
In 99% of situations of this kind, hosting is able to resolve this issue. Could you please reach out to them and let us know if you managed to get this resolved?
