thank you for your reply, can i ask how can a manager cancel the appointment? there is no bin icon when opening a appointment on the backend calendar, also not on the appointments backend view. Is there another way?
That said, cancel would be good enough for the manager, its almost the same as deletion. Just need to find how the manager can do that, so if you can help me with that thank you
Thanks oh and why should i put this in a separate ticket its more like a follow up question to my other
The manager can cancel the appointment but it can not delete them. This privilege is allowed only to admin.
The “Amelia Manager” role has almost the same permissions as an “Administrator” role, but with a few important differences. A manager is allowed to hide but not delete anything; a manager cannot customize the front-end look of the plugin and doesn’t have access to the WordPress settings.
thank you for your assistance, i do have to note, your answer doesnt really answer the question because the main question is, exactly how to cancel a appointment as a manager? there is no bin icon. what is the way to cancel them for a user with the amelia manager role
You are asking for deleting not for canceling in that case. Manager can cancel the appointment by changing the status of the appointment to cancel.
The Bin icon that you are mentioning is not for canceling it is for deleting the appointment and this option for deleting is only available for admins. Only an admin can delete appointments. But a manager can cancel the appointment like this
Hope this explains it.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
This is by design it is not a bug, it is pretty straightforward green is approved, and red is canceled. But in any case, we are counting that any who is using it is familiar with that after a while and also we are here to help you.

Hi Marko thanks for your answer
o that clears it up, now i can instruct my employees, how to cancel.
i see this can be done like that, from the appointments screen which is nice.
from the calendar screen its a bit less straight forward, because the text is missing but also there is no tool tip,
so for someone unfamiliar with the system this can be confusing what to choose
is this a bug, or by design?
thanks
regards Alexander
