Time Slot Removal

    Hello,

I do not need specific times set as the customer needs to confirm their start time with us directly once booked, and my bookings fill the entire day so there is no "start" or "end" time needed for my business.

I cannot figure out how to remove the time slot and have only a date available to book

    I'd further like to add:

I am a moving company, I do not have specific employees as we use entire crews to complete jobs. I currently have 4 available crews and offer 4 services. There's no way that I can see where I can have one "employee" accept one of each service I have per day. Right now my work around has been to create an "employee" for each crew. Here's where the big issue stems from -

Each booked move takes up the entirety of the day, I need the calendar to only allow each service to book 1 a day. Amelia is not allowing me to remove time slots, or remove a start time from view. My customers must verbally confirm with us what time they would like to start. I have followed every step visible on every article and ticket I could find the on the support page and nothing has worked. I even pasted the shortcode to show "book now" and it still shows a start time on the progress column. On top of that, each "employee" and each service shows random time slots. Some show only 2 available and others it shows up to 5 time slots available. All my working hours are set to 24 hours and all my employees work hours are set to 24 hours, and the duration in the services is set to 24 hours. (with the exception of Sunday as we do not work Sundays). I went to "customize" and only found an option to hide the end time, not the start time.

In the "customize" section under the Date & Time Selection, the auto generated preview does NOT show any time slots, yet my live one does.

For reference, public ticket 3062110 is exactly how mine is setup yet it does not function the way I am intending, the final screenshot shown in the ticket is what I'm trying to accomplish.

I have cleared caches, made sure the timezone was set correctly, and nothing seems to resolve this. This is a HUGE must-have feature that I absolutely need to have working properly.

Cannot believe I still haven't received a response on this after 3 days on an extremely time-sensitive project!

I think I may have found the possible root of the issue - you can't turn off the Default Time Slot Step in General Settings. I have all my working hours for each individual employee set to 24 hours and the global settings at 24 hrs. The time slot step is displaying availability for every 8 hours (the maximum it provides). We should be able to turn this off altogether.

    Hello Allie,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Our work hours are from Monday to Friday from 09 to 17 CET.

Also, please when you have several questions or issues, please open a new ticket, and we will help you there. In that way, issues and questions which are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily.

Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket because of the reasons that are described already.

    Thank you for understanding.

    1. I do not need specific times set as the customer needs to confirm their start time with us directly once booked, and my bookings fill the entire day so there is no "start" or "end" time needed for my business.

I cannot figure out how to remove the time slot and have only a date available to book  - Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. Amelia is designed for appointment booking so you can not remove the time slots. You can set that your service/appointment last 24 hours but you can not skip the choosing of a time slot.

    2. In customize section you can hide end time easily by turning of the option

Calendar Slot End Time in Date & Time Selection and then by clicking on option you will see this option like this

Just turn it off and publish the form and purge the cache from the site and the end time won't show

    Hope this helps.

If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,
