Is it possible that a dropdownbox can be integrated into the events booking system? I have a workshop event that starts at 8:30 to 11:30 but within this I'd like the customer to make a choice between 10 different items. At the moment I make 10 different events all starting at the same time.
Is there a possibility to add this to a future update?
I'm afraid that we didn't quite get what you want to achieve exactly? Can you explain to us in a little more detail, and send us a couple of screenshots?
I can't provide screenshots because what I want doesn't exist (yet).
My site is educational so we want to provide an exam training to the pupils. I'd like the following:
A pupils chooses an even/timeslot (for example 8:30-11:30) and then has a choice from 10 different subjects. This way I can make sure that a pupil only chooses 1 subject.
At the moment I have 10 different events on the same timeslot. There are always some pupils who don't pay attention and book two events thinking there at different times (I know it's their fault and should pay closer attention, but I'd rather prevent such a mistake).
A dropdownbox within the event/timeslot would solve this problem.
I hope I've explained it better. If not, let me know and I'll try and draw it.
Yes, you have explained it excellently but unfortunately, this is not possible to achieve at this time in Amelia. You can either do it as you did until now too maybe create 10 different events that will reoccur. We can not think of any other way at this time.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
I'm afraid we may not understand exactly what you want to achieve. That's why we asked if you might have a screenshot of what you want to achieve. If you already use custom fields but you want the customer to choose only one subject, in that case, it is better to use the radio button because then they can choose only one option, while with the checkbox they can choose more. I hope this helps you.
It's a good suggestion. However, there is a limited number of participants for each subject. Using a dropdownbox in this manner would cause problems with the total. I made them all separate. It's not ideal but it works.

Hello
When you select 'custom fields', you can use a selectbox.
