Hi guys, we see a lot of people struggling with the recent TIME ZONE CHANGE in the United States, and with the upcoming time zone change in Europe (March 26th). If you see incorrect times in the appointments booked after Daylight Savings Time starts, the time zone of your WordPress site needs to be adjusted.
Please check out THIS ARTICLE about the time zones in Amelia.
I'm looking to build a few enhancements to Amelia in order to improve the booking experience for my clients and improve our business processes. I've seen the "Request a feature" site, but am more interested in building it myself (I'm a full-stack developer).
Recently I saw this thread (https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/ticket/2848518/) where someone at Amelia says the documentation for the Amelia API would soon be published - my post on the thread is the most recent one - here's the question from the post:
"I'm curious what the scope of customization will be once the API is available - I'd like to start developing a few custom features I have in mind to improve the process for my customers and myself.
For example, if I have a customer that purchases a package of 5 classes, they are assigned 5 credits to book those classes later. If they decide to bring a friend (or multiple friends) to one of those classes, I'd like to give them the option to use the credits from their package to do so (bring 2 friends - deduct 3 credits [one for self and 1 for each friend]). At the moment, bringing a friend is only an option when the customer is buying and booking a single lesson.
There are a few approaches I am open to trying on this problem, but the main point is will the API enable 3rd party developers like myself to build out these features?"
Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for reaching out to us.
At the moment, this is not possible with API, but I will have this passed to our developers to implement it in the future.
In the meantime, please let me know if you have any other questions.
