We are a rehearsal/recording studio that uses the Amelia plugin to allow our customers to book appointments online. Our business operates on an hourly basis rather than appointments. While single services work fine, we face an issue with packages.
For example, we have a package that consists of 100 hours in total. We created a 2-hour and a 3-hour service, and in the package settings, we selected these services with the ability to book 20 x 2-hour service and 20 x 3-hour service, totaling 100 hours. However, customers are not free to use their 100 hours as they please because the package counts appointments rather than hours. eg. they would like to book 50 appointments x 2-hours.
It would be an ideal solution if the administrator had the ability to choose between counting appointments (as it is right now) or a new feature counting the total hours of services in packages. In this case, the admin would create just one service and add additional hours in the duration & price setting, allowing customers to book as many appointments as they need to fulfill the total hours included in the package.
We appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you.
Unfortunately, there is currently no such option with Amelia's built-in features. You can suggest that feature on the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/
We carefully follow suggestions from our customers and the more vote the feature gets, the more priority we put on implementing that feature in one of the future updates.
