Hi, I have another ticket open that you have not responded to, but this ticket is to look at a different issue.
At the moment I have Amelia configured so that appointments can be created for the same day and time, with a maximum of 5 appointments per day, but when appointments are made they become group appointments and are automatically approved. For example: client 1 makes an appointment for Monday at 15:00, client 2 makes an appointment for the same day and time, this client receives an email that his appointment has already been approved.
What I am looking for is that each appointment is separate, even if they are made for the same day and the same time the appointments can be seen in the manager panel separately and are not automatically approved.
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, something like this is not yet possible.
If the service is booked on the same day, at the same time, with the same employee, that appointment automatically becomes a Group appointment, as soon as the 2nd person books it.
You can configure the default appointment status to be Pending, so that you need to manually approve it.
When you do this, you can edit the appointment, and manually approve each customer, or you can simply change the status of the group so it's approved for the entire group.
I have a problem with appointments on the same day and at the same time, I have no problem with groups being created when 2 or more make an appointment on the same day and at the same time, my problem is that if my client A creates an appointment and I mark his appointment as approved when my client B creates his appointment for the same time as my client A it automatically sends an email to client B with the data that his appointment has been approved.
Can you help me to configure Amelia so that it does not send the APPROVED notice but sends the PENDING appointment email, as I currently have it configured so that all appointments have the status of PENDING to be approved or not.
The default status is Pending; Customer A books, and you set the status to Approved;
Customer B books, and receives the APPROVED email instead of the PENDING email. Understood.
This is a bug that was reported to our developers, so they are already working on it. I believe it will be included in our upcoming update. Sorry for the misunderstanding and for the inconvenience.
Something similar happens to me, but randomly. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. If this is going to be fixed in a future version, how much time is left for that update? My client is having a lot of problems with this since many clients arrive at his restaurant and their reservation has not been accepted but they have received the accepted reservation email.
I hope it can be solved soon because this reservation system will be implemented soon in a chain of 6 restaurants and I would not like to happen to us what Antonio says, because we would like to go up a level to implement Amelia's features. I hope to have good news soon, thank you.
The fix should be included in the next update, which should go out in about two weeks.
If our developers fix this sooner, I will respond to this ticket and attach the fix to it, so you guys can simply apply the fix.
@Antonio - this can't happen randomly. If an appointment is set to "Pending", everyone will receive the "Appointment Pending" notification, but if the appointment is set to "Approved", but the customers in there are newly booked customers, they will be saved as "Pending", but will receive the "Appointment Approved" notification:
