After updating to 5.4 (from the last previous version), when I go to the Browse table page, I get "No wpDataTables in the system yet." These two tables are still indicated as present on the dashboard and are actually online : https://www.aepm.eu/presses/ https://www.aepm.eu/press-owners/ How can I get them back in my admin page ? Thanks for your help
Hey Milos, I'm experiencing a similar problem since upgrading, but even stranger ... when I browse all tables in the back end, there is a blank line for table_1, yet tables 2, 3, and 4 are all visible. Table_1 is showing as expected in front-end. MySQL version is 8+
Did you already try the instructions we sent before,
to use the 'class.wdtbrowsetable.php' file and ovewrite the existing one over FTP? ( i will additionally send it here as an attachment again, just for safety, if the weTransfer link expires)
If you already used the fix file to overwrite the existing PHP file in your plugin files,
please open a new ticket, and we will need additional access to your setup.
It will be a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your website where this happens,
as well as FTP credentials and access to the database ( either link with credentials for PHPmyAdmin, or access to Hosting Panel),
so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials there just make sure to either send a PRIVATE Reply on your new ticket so that nobody can see them except us,
or open a completely private ticket - in that case all messages of the ticket will not be seen by any other users, only we will see them.
Just wanted to notify you that our developers just launched a new Update that has a permanent fix implemented for this issue of the "browse tables page" not showing tables correctly in the back-end.
Please update your plugin to latest Version 5.4.1.
A minor update with bug fixes: BugFix: Fixed issue with browse page not loading when using SQL 5.6.x versions. Other small bug fixes.

I'm having this same issue. How soon can we get this resolved?
Hello, Alain and Adam.
Sorry for the waiting time.
We don't work on weekends so it adds two days to the waiting time.
we appreciate your patience.

If you do not see the tables in the wpDataTables table list, in the back-end;
you most probably have MySQL version 5.6.x installed on the hosting server.
Our developers discovered that the support for MySQL version 5.6 has stopped/
it no longer supports specific JSON functions that our plugin uses to load this 'browse tables' list properly. ( Reference about that here)
The best solution will be to change the MySQL version on the server, either to the older 5.5 ,
or any newer version, such as MySQL 5.7 or 8.0, or higher.
(If you don't know how to do that, please check with your hosting support if they can change the MySQL version on the server).
2. Or, if it is not currently possible for you to change the MySQL version on the hosting server,
our developers made this edited PHP file fix that you can use.
You can download it from my weTransfer on this link;
please upload it to your FTP and overwrite the file in this path:
wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/source/class.wdtbrowsetable.php
That should fix the issue of tables not loading on the list in the back-end.
Let me know if it helps.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
