Sure. I received an email earlier today directing me to download an upgrade to Amelia. I already have Amelia installed - why the upgrade isn't pushed out through wordpress i dont know??
Anyway, I downloaded the files and read the documentation. The documentation is all about a fresh install. There is nothing about upgrading. My concern is that if I upload the latest version it will fuck up my existing install in some way and possibly loose data.
There does not appear to be any guidance or reassurance in the documentations to ensure I am performing the upgrade as expected. I.e. so as not to completely screw up a business critical system.
So my question is - how do I safely perform an upgrade with no information provided and just a load of files?
Just received the upgrade link but the documentation relates to a brand new install. How do I upgrade while ensuring no current data is lost?
Thanks
James

Hello James,
The AWS server we used needed to update the PHP version and this caused these notices.
Our developers fixed it, but a certain amount of emails were already sent and we can't revert that, unfortunately.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but rest assured that everything is fine with the update.
Kind regards.
