It has occured now twice that Amelia sends SMS reminders for appointments that were cancelled/moved already weeks ago. Todays occurrence concerns an appointment for tomorrow March 3 which already on Feb 12 had been rescheduled to March 10.
NOTE: I have followed the earlier thread on the matter, as far as public. However, I understand back then there was no solution found. What I can tell you is, that the SMS of today, which the customer sent me for verification, was NOT LOGGED in either Amelia's backend viewer, nor in the repective WP-table "amelia_notifications_sms_history".
Scheduled messages are sent only if there's an existing appointment the message is related to and if the appointment is in the Approved status. So, in short - if the appointment is canceled the cron won't trigger an email, and if the appointment is deleted, a 2-week after the appointment follow-up email won't be sent.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Thanks, should it happen again, I shall report back to you.
On a related point: Why are Cron-triggered Notifications, such as reminders, not logged at all? As for SMS, I can neither find it in the "SMS sent" tab in the backend admin, nor in the respective WP-database-table supposed to contain all SMS logs. As for Emails, I do not receive reminders in the email-box specified in settings as "send copy to this email address".
In regard to the SMS reminders not being displayed in the SMS history, is this the issue with all of the SMS reminders or just some specific as those should be logged?
All SMS reminders and ALL emails. Reminders do not show up anywhere: they are not shown in the "SMS sent" tab, nor are email reminders sent to the email address I specified in settings (where I want to receive copies of all emails sent to customers).
But Uros, please do me the favor and give the customer panel issue I just submitted a ticket for your priority attention. This is way more important for me than whether reminders are logged or not. Customers cannot modify or cancel their bookings at the moment, I believe this to be the case since last update, and this is a huge issue for me. Thanks
Hi guys, I don't know whether you did something and if so what you did, but since exactly 10:45h this morning reminder notifications via email do indeed get cc'd to a second inbox where I want to log them. If it was you, then thanks a lot. If it was not you, then this seems to be a case of "Ghost in the machine"...
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
I just wanted to let you know that I have passed this on to our testers and will provide you with an update on this as soon as possible.

It's SMS AND Email reminders in fact.

However, reminder SMSs are still not showing up in the "SMS sent" tab.
