If you look at the longevity column with the categorical long & short filters, the categories reset from hand picked to auto filled after about a minute or so of just hanging out on the page. If you refresh the page the hand picked categories come back & the timer or whatever resets. This is super strange behavior, but we were able to replicate across >3 computers, with different operating systems & browsers, and it's persisted for at least a week.
Unfortunately, that's all the info I have. I didn't see anything in the console. I haven't checked the wordpress logs, but caching doesn't seem affect the issue one way or another.
I'm happy to provide access if you'd like, we'll just need to coordinate a time for me to drop the site firewalls or provision you SSO accounts.
After further testing, we are not able to reproduce this issue on our Test sites, so it is not a bug of the plugin itself but rather a specific issue on your installation/site.
As a solution, you can just keep server-side processing enabled on tables going forward and that should prevent the issue from reoccurring.
With server side processing enabled, the filtering isn't working at all: any selection just gives a blank table. I'm happy to leave SSP on, as long as it works.
Any recommendations?
Thanks again for spending so much time looking into this! I really appreciate you and the TMS team :)
No need to apologize Miloš! I totally understand :)
We'll leave server side processing enabled and deal with the odd longevity column and inability to search for now. The site is actually being debuted this week at a conference, so it is what it is at this point.
Please let me know if there are any further discoveries from this and feel free to close the ticket whenever. I assume if 2nd level doesn't find anything this time around, we'll call it good and wait for updates.
Thanks again for your work on this! You are very much appreciated :)
As our QA Team was not able to reproduce the issue of your Longevity Column's predefined filtering values for the checkbox,
on any of our Testing/staging sites,
they can not flag that behaviour as a bug - since it happens only on your site somehow, and we don't have any other users who reported that.
But we will see what else we can try to help.
At this point, I will reach out again to our 2nd level Team, and our developers to see what else we could try from their end to debug this issue for you.
Since i already have the "All In One" migration copy of the site, our devs will be able to install it and to conduct further investigation.
I will keep you posted with any new information along the way.
And we keep fingers crossed that the "Longevity" column won't be the crucial detail for your site at the conference/ that you will find a way to work around this issue for the moment.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation once again.

Alright. It took me a bit to get a software that worked but I have screen recordings!
Unfortunately, they are too big to upload, so here are links:
Hi, Seon.
We have exported your Gravity Form, so our QA Team is going to take a closer look at each field/setting, etc,
and i will keep you posted on our progress.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Hi, Seon.
Just following up.

Hey Miloš,
Sorry for the super late reply!

Hi, Seon.
It is not a problem about your late reply, but i have now replied late as well.
I sincerely apologize for the delayed response, as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets.
I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
-
You are correct, i almost forgot to mention that.
As we pointed out on our Documentation for the Gravity Integration,
unfortunately, at the moment, we have issues with searching and sorting when Server-Side processing is enabled on Gravity Tables.
We plan to work with Gravity team to improve it in future versions.
-
But i am not 100% sure about column filtering, to be honest.
On your table, it seems that filtering works for almost all columns as expected,
only for this "Longevity" column it seems odd.
When we disable Server-Side processing, then it does filter correctly,
but then we have this initial issue back, with the strange bug for predefined values not "sticking" in the Checkbox.
On the other hand, if we enable Server-Side processing,
then for the column "Longevity" the filtering behaves strangely, does not return the results correctly.
-
We will see what we can do, if there is any possible workaround at the moment that could allow you to have predefined checkbox filter values,
while avoiding the initial bug where the values "won't stick".
I will reach out to our 2nd level Team again, and we will report back as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

You rock Miloš!
Hey, Seon.
No problem, i am happy to help as much as possible.
I still don't have a useful Update about this issue for you, but we will still see what we can do.
We will report back again after the weekend to see if we made any breakthrough regarding this matter.
I hope that you will be able to "work around it" for the time being.
Thank you.
