When I first tested PayPal checkout the screen hung on the screen displayed after I selected my payment method. It hung when I was logged into my PayPal account but It worked when I checked out as "Guest." I suspect the initial failure was caused by PayPal's rejection of the payment - the account I used to test checkout is experiencing extra PayPal security paranoia lately and they've been rejecting other legitimate payments.
My concern is the apparent lack of error handing. If a payment is rejected by PayPal the user should get a message that the transaction could not be completed instead of waiting for an endlessly spinning circle.
I'm afraid that we didn't quite get what the issue and question is exactly? Can you explain to us in a little more detail, and send us a couple of screenshots? Also we are not sure if this is Amelia or PayPal issue. Please send us a screenshoots so that we can take a closer look at the issue and to see if it is related to Amelia or you need to contact PayPal support team.
When I'm logged into my PayPal account and try to checkout it just hangs on this screen. If I log out I'm able to checkout as "Guest" by entering a cc. While I don't doubt that there's a problem with my PayPal account rejecting legitimate payments right now, there's no feedback on the screen or timeout on Amelia's part - It just hangs there forever and ever until I leave the page.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
