We upgraded Amelia version from Basic to Pro two days ago. Basic is already installed on the website. Is it possible to do the upgrade in the backend without losing all data and settings?
Thanks a lot for your help! Many greetings, Nicole🌺
Dear Marko, thank you very much for your answer. This does not seem to work. I have done everything step by step as you described. Nevertheless, only the Basic Plugin was installed again. I see it from the fact that is not possible to set up "packages of services". And that is the reason why we upgraded to the Pro version. What can be the reason for that?
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Dear Marko, I have found the error, now all service dates are displayed correctly on all service days! :-)
But: unfortunately I have another question.
It is not clear to me how customers can create their customer account? When booking single appointments or packages, no customer account has to be created and no password has to be set. How should they then log into the customer panel to manage their appointments? I have installed the customer panel, but there is no way to create a new customer account here. How does that work?
I couldn't find anything in the documentation about this either or did I miss it somewhere?
If you want to have a look: claudia-metzke.de
I would be very happy if you could help me here again. Thank you very much!
The customer is created in Amelia as soon as they book an appointment. In order to allow them to log into the Customer Panel, you need to add the %customer_panel_url% in Appointment Approved and/or Appointment Pending email notifications.
The 1st time the customer clicks on that link they will be prompted to create a password, and every consecutive time they click on it (for future appointments), they will be asked to log in with their email address and the password they created.

Marko is out sick, so I'll take over this ticket.
