    We are looking for a plugin that will help our visitor make a selection from a list  and get results in a chart based on their selection. (from a database that we will upload to the website)

    Is this something your plugin can do?

    I am attaching a screenshot for the old website that shows the selection and the result you get from a selection

    Hi, Heather.

    I am sorry to disappoint you, but for charts we don't have a solution like this.

    We have this feature only for tables.

     You can hide a table before a user has to make one or more filter selections ( We have various filters available, amongst them dropdowns as well , you can check available filters for tables here);

    This can be achieved with our premium add-on Powerful Fillters, with it's feature "Hide Table".

    Please check more on that here.

    2. But unfortunately, for the charts, we do not have this feature to hide charts before users make a filtering selection.

    But it is a good idea for a future improvement, so you can suggest it for our developers.

    Please feel free to search on our suggestions page

     to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there,  and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

    You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

    and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

    And i just wanted to point out that you can try wpDataTables before purchasing

     on our sandbox Demo sites ( you can find links for the main plugin Demo,

    as well as add-on Demos, in my signature),

    and there is a 15-day money-back guarantee period,

    so if you purchase the plugin, you can safely fully test it out, and if it doesn't fit your needs you can request and receive a refund in that period. ( same goes for all plugins and add-ons)

    Let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Kind Regards,
