I've just tried using the [ameliaevents type=calendar] shortcode to display my events, and the calendar displays correct with all events, but the upcoming events section just has a default image and "There are no upcoming events for this period" dispalyed, even though there are multiple future events.
I'm afraid that we didn't quite get what you how the issue looks exactly? Can you explain to us in a little more detail, and send us a couple of screenshots?
