Hi, i have now switched my website to selling packages instead of individual services. What i realized is that whn a cst. buys a package now, there is no .ics file attached in the "Package Purchased" notification. Essentially, as a cst. is buying two different services on two different dates, the email should contain two .ics files.
Is this a bug or has this feature just not been released so far?
ICS is sent for the appointment, and when the package is booked, a "Package Purchased" notification arrives. ICS is sent only for subsequent bookings when appointments are booked from the panel. This is how it works for now.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
That's my point. In my case there is NO .ics file attached in the "package purchased" notification, even though in the settings i have enabled that option (see screenshot). What am i doing wrong?
We just got the feedback from our colleagues and they have told us that the same as I have mentioned already ICS is sent for the appointment, and when the package is booked, a "Package Purchased" notification arrives.
So ICS is sent when an appointment is booked, not when a package is booked.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
1. Your customer buys a package - But there is no ICS to be sent. Amelia does not send ICS for this
2. When they book the appointment they will get ICS
3. Package purchase is just a purchase of several appointments that are not booked yet - Amelia does not send ICS for this
4. When they book an appointment (after the purchase of a package they need to book an appointment so that they can attend the appointment) for an appointment (not the package) they will receive the ICS.
Unfortunately, we do not have information on when or even if this option will be added for packages. At this time we do not have such plans since we are working on a lot of new option and a complete redesign of Amelia already.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
Can u think of any work-around on this? We sell a package that consists of 2 appointments - if a patient now buys a package he should receive 2 .ics files - one for each appointment.
Currently, ICS files for appointments are not sent in package purchased notifications. The only way you can possibly achieve this is for the customer to purchase a package first without any booking any appointments and then to book appointment is customer panela. Because then you would send ics in the approved appointments notification (if the option is included in the settings). There is no other way to do it if this option does not suit you then we encourage you to kindly consider submitting this valuable suggestion as a feature request through the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/. The prioritization of feature development is greatly influenced by the number of customer requests received. By participating and expressing your support, you contribute significantly to the potential expedited implementation of this feature.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

Bt then tell me, what I am doing wrong??
My customer books a package and receives the "package purchased" email BUT it has NO .ics file included.
Hello Namika,
Let us try this
Hope this helps.

hi Marko,
any Update on this??
when will .ics files be added for a Package order (2 appointments)?
Currently, as I understood, .ics files are only added in the confirmation email if a single service is booked. But not when a package is ordered.
best, Sunny
