I will cover multiple possible scenarios that might cause this issue.

1. If you don't see the Activation Tab in the main plugin settings, it means that you have the Lite plugin version installed.

Please follow the steps explained here, 

it is a step-by-step explanation of how you can safely remove the Lite version and install + activate the Full version.

2. If while trying to install the premium plugin by uploading it through the WP dashboard gives you any kind of a "time out error" or perhaps "this link has expired" error,

3. If you are not able to upload the file directly through WordPress, there are manual ways how you can extract the zipped installation directly in your plugin folder on the FTP of the server.
