I'm trying to configure event specific followup email notifications so that for each event I can collect feedback by a event specific online survey.

So I can't just put one single link into the "After Event Email Notification" but I would need a placeholder that can be configured on the event itself.

Since there currently is no means to setup event specific fields, I'm using the location field which we don't need for online events and I add the location placeholder to the followup email notification. The location field on the event is then populated with the link to the online survey.

Two drawbacks:

1) The location field is used for something it's not intended for

2) I can't hide the location everywhere, it still shows up on the ICS file and on the customer / employee panels

Suggestion:

Can we add event specific custom fields and placeholders to use them in the notifications? Also, can we add an event specific option to hide/show location everywhere?

say I have event A and event B and with the follow up email notification I want to send participants of event A a link to online-survey A and to participants of event B the link to online survey B.

For this, I would need to have a field on the event where I can put the survey link for each and a placeholder on the email notification screen that I can paste into the email so that the recipients receive only the survey for the event they had.

For this, I'm using the location field on the events as that's the only one I could find which allows me to paste text/html and which I can use in the notifications by the %location% placeholder.

Do you know if there's a less clunky way of getting that done? If not, can we add a field to the event along with notification placeholders?
