One week ago, I purchased the new Amelia Pro release, because it promised to be capable of managing resources and service packages. In fact, in Amelia's changelog it is stated:
Version 6.0 (22.12.2022) Feature: RESOURCES – Ability to create shared or single resources that limit the bookings, available only in Pro and Developer licenses
My problem with the Amelia plugin (Environment: Apache | MySql 5.6.5 | PHP 7.4.3.0 | SSL | Wordpress 6.1.1 | Plugins: only Amelia Pro 6.1)
I've to setup a package of 5 single lessons hours for a service that can be booked by a customer only 1 time per week. For this purpose I create in Amelia a very simple configuration:
CATEGORY
Name: Pole Gym
RESOURCE
Name: Pole classroom max 10 students
Quantity: 10
Services: 1 hour Pole Lesson - Limit 1 per week
Employee: Pole teacher
SERVICE
Name: 1 hour Pole Lesson - Limit 1 per week
Category: Pole Gym
Employee: Pole Teacher
Limit appointments per customer:
Number: 1 Time frame: week Period:1 Time period is calculated from: Appointment date and time.
Duration: 1 hour
Minimum capacity: 1 Maximum capacity: 10;
EMPLOYEE
First + Last Name: Pole Teacher
Assigned Services:
Pole Gym
1 hour Pole Lesson - Limit 1 per week
Capacity: 1 to 10
Work Hours: Thuesday and Thursday from 15:00 to 16:30
PACKAGE
Name: Package 5 x 1 hour Pole lesson
Duration: until February 28 2023
Services: 1 hour Pole Lesson - Limit 1 per week
Number of Appointments: 5
I assigned the package to a customer but, despite of the above settings, the same customer in wp frontend is able to book more than 1 appointment for week.
The problem remains, even when I don't use resources. Later, I encountered the same problem in your demo site!
Are my settings wrong? Should I adjust the settings in a different way? Is there a bug in your plugin?
If you want, I can provide you a WP-admin user for my pre-production site.
If the problem persists I would like to be refunded.
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

Hello Giovanni,
Thank you very much for your patience.
At the moment, there is no option to limit the number of appointments that a customer can book through a package in a certain period of time.
We have a plan to implement it in the future, but there is no ETA at the moment.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
