We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Having a hard time trying to figure out how to sort the values on the X-Axis.
For instance the month name. Even tried to prefix the month with a number value but chart still sorts in alphabetical order.
Hi, Jeff
Sorry for the delay
I will elaborate/explain how sorting for charts works in general.
-
Basically, the default sorting for a chart is going to be in the order of how you added the data in the cells of the table.
So, it will not be able to follow the table's sorting if you only place the chart on the page,
but if you place the table on the same page with the chart, and enable "Follow Table Filtering",
then the chart will follow any sorting/filtering you do on the table.
Please check more about this feature here.
-
We also have a workaround if you need to completely hide the table from the page,
so that the chart just follows sorting/filtering of the table without the table being visible.
-
Or if you wish to have only the chart with the table filters
, but the table hidden, we also have a workaround for that with custom CSS.
-
Let me know if that makes sense, and if you need any of these workaround, i can share them with you.
Thank you
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
