I would like only customers that are in the database to be able to book - is this possible? We want to create users and only those users can book, it would be great if they could actually log in first to use the booking system. Please advice on this or maybe you know a work around that is possible? We love the booking system but all services will be free and only be for users that we approve so we will be creating them with an email and password.
We don't have a built-in solution that can limit which users can "see the booking", or to limit which users can book, if you post the Booking element on a public page, for example.
We plan to add a Membership Feature, but i can't say an ETA when this will be added.

At this time, there can be workarounds to achieve this, if you use something like a Membership Plugin combined with Amelia on a site.
-
So, for example, you can make a booking page and limit the access to this page only for logged Members.
Additionaly, you can use User Role Editor plugin to add Custom roles for users, if needed.
-
Then, with the Membership Plugin, you can set up so that only specific user roles can access specific pages,
and let's say if on page 1 , you set Amelia shortcode with a free Service,
and limit access on this page only for Member with a role VIP;
then make another page 2, set up another free Amelia Service shortcode there;
and this page can only be accessed with Members with role of "Level 1 Member", something like that.
as well as a front-end Customer Panel, which can be used for logged users to check and manage their bookings.
And there is a way how you can set up the Customer Panel to have same Login credentials as a Membership Plugin, then the members can have seamless login access to the Customer Panel and their Member account at the same time ( without having to input credentials again);
( Let me know if you need this and i will share the workaround);
-
Additionally, I just wanted to point out that we have pages with Demos, that you can use to try out the plugin's features - https://wpamelia.com/demos/
and there is a 15-day money-back guarantee period, so if you purchase the plugin, you can safely fully test it out,
we would assist you with our support along the way, and if it doesn't fit your needs you can request and receive a refund in that period.
-
Let me know how this seems and if you have any questions.

Here you can see the list of all Amelia shortcodes;
And i will recommend to go through this "Quick Start Guide" where you can see some basics to get you started, if you wish to try out Amelia.
