We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I have updated about 6 plugins. Last one was Amelia, which failed. I got the following message:
Update mislukt: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> 502 Proxy Error Proxy Error The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server. The proxy server could not handle the requestReason: Error reading from remote server
After that the website is broken. I can unbreak it by de-activating Amelia via FTP. But then Amelia is not working anymore.
What can I do to solve this and update in a normal way?
Ok, just found the answer.
1. Delete Ameliabooking folder from plugins folder.
2. Downloaded the most recent version of Amelia. Unzip it and upload it to the plugins folder.
3. Log in as admin. Activate Amelia plugin through the admin plugins menu.
All should be restored now.
@Amelia
Please fix the problem issue, because updating like described is not very user friendly.
Hello Marcel,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are glad to hear that everything is working now. We did not encounter such issue and Amelia can be updated automatically or we would have tens of thousands of tickets related to this. May we advice to contact your hosting provider to check if there are some permissions missing on their end that will prevent Amelia from updating?
We wish you all the best.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]
