Is there a way to make sure that mandatory custom fields filled up first before a booking from a package (in the customer frontend panel) is successful?
Amelia will make sure that all required custom fields will be filled up on the backend when an admin / manager book a slot from an existing package; it will be great to have the same feature for customers who make such booking on the frontend panel.
We will work on the panel in the near future, but at the moment this can't be done. The old (current) panels were designed before we even thought of Packages, so they aren't optimized for them.
We are, however, working on a redesign, where your customers will be able to select everything they need.
Thanks for the information! May I know if is there any timeline regarding this implementation it is quite important for us to have fields (both optional & mandatory) when a customer book an appointment from an existing package?
Otherwise, is there any other way that a customer able to book an appointment from an existing package besides the current frontend panel flow?
Unfortunately, I don't have an ETA on this. Our developers and our management are going through all customer suggestions and requests related to the Packages, and they'll try and implement as many as possible when the panels are redesigned. Based on experience, they won't be able to implement everything with the initial release, but they will work on suggestions one at a time in the future.
There's no other way a customer can book remaining appointments; they can only do it through the panel.
Hello 👋

Hello Patrick.
We will work on the panel in the near future, but at the moment this can't be done. The old (current) panels were designed before we even thought of Packages, so they aren't optimized for them.
We are, however, working on a redesign, where your customers will be able to select everything they need.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
