I've set up some test events to check if it is just a fluke or not, but the behavior is consistent....
Even though I select the only employee (myself) as the event organizer in the event settings - any account I register receives an ical without organizer name (my gmail indicates "Unknown Organizer").
Quite frustrating!
Could you please send out a patch or something to fix this asap? Would really appreciate it! I am about to go public with an event and it's just quite unprofessional to have that Unknown Organizer appear. Thank you!
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. You can add yourself as an employee instead of an organizer at this time and customers will be able to see this information

Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
@Uros: Is there a number of tickets you need to respond per day in order to get bonuses? Otherwise it makes no sense to ask someone else to write a different ticket for the same issue - which by the way is not resolved yet
@Simon: nothing changed in the past 4 months, still same issues. They have some of the slowest developers I have ever seen, and their team is not small...

We forwarded the request to add the organizer to the ICS file to our developers, and they will work on it in the future. Since Amelia's integration with calendars includes only Outlook and Google Calendars, it was not intended to work for the customers, but only for employees linked with these accounts. The option to add the details of the appointment/event in an ICS file was implemented later on, and it was only intended to send the title, the date, and the time, not to share the details of organizers and other attendees.
We'll see if this can be changed.
It's not just the number of votes that prioritize the features. There are a lot of variables here:
1. Is the feature implementation even possible 2. How difficult it is 3. Would it change the logic of the app 4. If "yes", in what way and how can we adjust the new logic so it works both with the new logic and with the old logic 5. Company goals (as much as we love hearing from you guys, and receiving your suggestions, our plans for the plugin can still postpone certain suggestions).
There are a lot more variables but I won't go into detail as I believe these should cover the basics.
Since the bug has been created, I believe it will be resolved relatively soon. I can't make any promises, but if the developers inform us it's been logged, it will most likely be resolved in one of our upcoming updates.
