Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. But you can delete the events in the back end that are closed and they will no longer appear on the front.
I'll kindly ask you Jacob as I already asked Ying Zhang to add it as a feature suggestion on this link https://features.wpamelia.com/
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
This is pretty vital I'd say as the entire booking process is made VERY difficult for businesses that have lots of events. You have to scroll way past everything just to find an open one.
We thank you for your suggestions, they will be reviewed, for now, you can delete the events in the back end that are closed and they will no longer appear on the front.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
Unfortunately, your suggestion currently has only 14 votes, while we have feature requests with several hundred votes. Additionally, we are in the process of a complete backend redesign, so this is unlikely to be implemented in the near future.
However, we are closely monitoring the votes, and if priorities change, we will certainly reconsider.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to open separate tickets for each, and we will be happy to assist you.
Wishing you all the best and a wonderful day ahead!
It is possible that the same suggestion appears in multiple places, as is the case with many feature requests. However, we have a dedicated team that monitors these requests. If you have been following the voting lists, you may have noticed that they change from time to time—this happens because we consolidate similar suggestions and merge the votes into a single request to keep everything organized.
If there are any updates, the feature may be implemented, but we cannot guarantee that at this time. You can always check our changelog for the latest developments. At the moment, we do not have plans to implement this in the near future, as our focus is on higher-priority features, including a backend redesign and several other improvements that are either planned or already in development.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly ask that you open separate tickets for each question, and we will be happy to assist you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Is it possible to hide closed events or at least move them to the bottom of list view?
When some events fill up they just sit at the top of the list unfortunately and make it hard to find open events.
Great suggestion, we also need a way to show only events open for booking and hide the ones that are not open yet.

Has there been any progress on this?
This issue remains extremely tedious and frustrating for anyone who is setup to use the plugin.

It has more votes spread across multiple suggestions.
I understand priority, but doesn't this seem like a common sense quality of life feature?
It's very backwards to show CLOSED and past events first.
