I purchased my license thru Codecanyon, my purchase code has expired for support, I'm not interested in spending another $257 to get support, what other otions do I have to resolve the following:

The following query works in MariaDB / MySQL but not in wpdatatables, it loads the data but then freezes with the spinning wheel going in circles forever, sort of greyed out:

select     Team,     FirstName,     LastName,     Pos,     InjuryType,     EndDate     from Injuries      union

select     Team,     FirstName,     LastName,     Pos,     InjuryType,     EndDate     from LTIR

    Thanks,

    Owen Greaves

    Hi Owen

Our apologies for the waiting time,

we will do our best to respond quicker going forward.

The SQL feature in our plugin is not the same as if you ran the Query in a Database Management Tool.

Our logic is based on a PHP SQL parser which has full support for the SQL dialect for the following statement types

SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, REPLACE, RENAME, SHOW, SET, DROP, CREATE INDEX, CREATE TABLE, EXPLAIN and DESCRIBE.

Some of them are disabled for security reasons.

Filtering, sorting, and search may not work properly if you include:

    • Accent graves ( ` ) around the table name
    • JOIN functions
    • UNION functions
    • CONCAT functions
    • sub-queries

To avoid these issues, you can try preparing a MySQL view (which will return the data that you need, call it e.g. “view1” and then build a wpDataTables based on a simple query like "SELECT * FROM view1″.

If you need help with that, you can see our video, where we show an example of using View in our plugin.

Let me know if creating a View and making a new SQL Query in our plugin with that method works,

we will be here if you need further assistance.

    Thank you

    Kind Regards,
