We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello, i have a question and a problem to solve.
1) Is it possible to add a birth date in the customer information's form?
2) I generate a "Amelia Manager" to give to an employe that need to manage appointments but with this role she can not erase the appointments. This is really weird, can you fix this?
Thank you so much
Marco
Hello Marco.
Thank you for reaching out to us.
1. Unfortunately, no. This will be considered for the future, but at the moment there's no way to include the birthday entry when the customer books the appointment.
2. By default, the "Amelia Manager" user role is allowed to hide but not delete anything. You would need to install a plugin like "User Role Editor" in order to assign the capability to delete appointments to this role. When you install this plugin, go to Users/User Role Editor, select the "Amelia Manager" from the drop-down menu and enable the "amelia_delete_appointments" capability:
Please note: Assigning multiple roles to a single user is not advisable. The "Amelia Employee" and the "Amelia Manager" have different sets of capabilities, so if you assign the "Amelia Manager" role to an employee, these capabilities will be in conflict and you can cause issues with how Amelia is functioning.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
