We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
I'm curious about SMS service; can your SMS service also be used to segment the client list to send as-needed messages?
My wife's a massage therapist and she maintains a SMS list of clients who have opted in to be notified of last-minute cancellations so they can book appointments when someone cancels. She currently uses Textedly for this, but it would be ideal to keep all text messaging under one service so clients aren't receiving notifications from two different numbers.
Secondly: can same-day text reminders be sent, to remind clients the morning of their appointment to minimize no-shows?
Another question: can we disallow new client registration; we need to restrict appointment booking to existing clients only (so, she would set up users rather than letting strangers register or book appointments)?
Thanks!
Hello Frank,
Thank you for expressing interest in the Amelia plugin.
At the moment, SMS messages can only be sent out when the customer books/reschedules/cancel the appointment or it can also be scheduled (reminder or a follow-up).
Amelia doesn't yet have a membership feature, but it will be developed as a part of the Developer license (maybe even as part of the Pro license) in the future. But there may be a workaround you're interested in.
Any membership plugin (like MemberPress, or Ultimate Member, etc.) allows you to create pages that are inaccessible to some (for example non-logged-in users). You can also create custom logic, so a user can access this page once a month (for example), but we're not sure about that, since we don't work with Membership plugins.
Please take a look at our Packages feature, and see if maybe the Packages would be useful for you.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
