I have a gravity form that has a combination of hidden and non-hidden fields that are auto-created. I created a wpdatatable that displays the contents of the form and only the non-hidden fields show up as expected. The problem is, if users use the front end editing on the table and edit one of the non-hidden fields, it deletes ALL the data in the hidden fields. Is there any way around this? I'd like to not expose the hidden fields, but I wouldn't be oppose to it. The problem is, I don't want users editing the fields. So I need to be able to not delete the fields or somehow make some fields editable and others not.
Can you tell me what are the column types of these hidden fields that get deleted once a user edits anything?
Are they perhaps attachment fields?
If so, we currently have an issue with that, it is pointed out on this documentation :
Attachments are deleted when editing – At the moment, if your Gravity Forms have images or other attachments included, you will not be able to properly edit the table generated from the form since the uploaded file will be deleted upon editing. We do not recommend enabling the editing option when you have attachments in the form.

But, if these hidden fields are not attachment fields,
then it might be something else.
-
Would it be possible if you could make a video / screen recording with Loom/ScreenCast or any screen recorder and show us how this issue looks on your end and show us how you configured these fields on the source Form as well as the column setup in the table?
We can't seem to replicate it on our Sandbox Site, but perhaps we are not doing something correctly to reproduce the same steps as on your site.

If we could also remotely take a look at the table, and the form,
please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

Hi, Brad
Sorry for the delay, we don't work on weekends.

And point us to the table ID.
Thank you
