In my booking system, there are approx 5-8 extras in each service category.
When I finished editing them I save them, and unfortunately, they often mix up their description and sometimes titles as well so the pricing doesn'tcorrespond to the ones I have saved (I only came to see this on the front end). Then I reopened the backend, and it is totally mixed up. It doesn't matter if I rewrite them, they do mix up again.
Important to note I do not have chrome extensions enabled as I know Grammarly has messed up my email saving too so I specifically work in a private browser (incognito) for Wp Amelia text field duty. Regardless it's still mixing.
I'm afraid that we didn't quite get what and how the issue looks exactly? Can you explain to us in a little more detail, and send us a couple of screenshots? Or a short one minute video?
I will illustrate it via screenshots attachments and refer to them as their file names.
1. This is the normal setup as I originally intended to create the extras and their names.
3. However when you open the translation of the extra service you will see that it takes a totally different extra service name. In this case, you can see in screenshot 1. that it is copying the name from the last extra service "+RETOUCH PHOTO".
When you look at screenshot 4. in the front end it is copying the incorrect translations.
When I try to correct it is going to mess up again, other services have other extras mixed up. Generally, translations are going out of control mixing up when closing and saving them.
This reminds me of the email notifications when I used the Grammarly chrome extension and when saving them they were mixed up too. but this time I do not use extensions while editing extra services.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
Unfortunately, the video is not good. We can hear you clicking all sort of option but the picture doesn't move and after a while, it jump to another frame that is frozen. In general we understand what the issue is but we can not know and examine what the issue is without the credentials. We do this everyday dozens times per day but we you do not want to give us the credentials we understand.
Would you be able to provide us with a staging site, along with WP-admin (Administrator) user, FTP, and the database, so our developers can debug the plugin, and see what's going on?
If you're not able to provide us with a staging site, can you clone your website?
If yes - I'll ask you to install the Duplicator plugin. It will generate a couple of files that you can send me (along with the log-in credentials), and then I can create an exact copy of your website, see what the issue is and try to resolve it.
The Duplicator plugin can export only up to 500MB of data, so if your site is bigger than that, please use the All-in-One WP Migration plugin.
Please note that the files will be too large to attach to the ticket, so you can upload them via wetransfer.com and just send me the link.
Or turn off WPML and then try to change translations for Extras. (most likely the issue is coming from WPML). If it works when WPML is turned off, then it's probably coming from there. To be honest, we have never seen anything like this.
