Frontend Editing wpDataTable Gravity Form
Closed

I have a simple Gravity Form with a wpDataTable below it. The form feeds the table with submissions. These submissions in each row are suppose to be frontend editable. I have tried modal pop-up, pop-over, and inline edit. None of them work.

I have upgraded all GF plugins and wpDataTable plugins to latest version. I click on a row and the "loading" icon spins, then nothing happens. In the backend when I view/edit the wpDataTable it works just fine. But we want users to be able to edit the form in the frontend.

The thing is, if the form is NOT a gravity form i.e. a "manual" form, this editing works just fine. My error console is giving this: `Uncaught ReferenceError: wp is not defined` - However, everything is update to date but my wp version.

Please help or send me a reference/past ticket on this issue? I have read many tickets but not this one.

    Hi, AJ

Thanks for reaching out to us

    - If the editing works on the back-end, and you see this issue only on the front-end,

in that case you might have some sort of a conflict on site between our plugin's Gravity integration and something else on site.

wpDataTables is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) concept-based plugin. This means that the table should look the same both in the back-end and in the front-end. If your front-end table looks and behaves differently than in the back-end, this usually implies that there is another plugin (or the current theme) that's changing the behavior of our plugin.

Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved? If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be). If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue reoccurred. Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.

Let me know if you isolate a conflict with these steps ? Thank you

    Kind Regards,
