We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello Amelia team,
I have a question.
I having a multiple vendor site. Is it possible to give employee (vendor) a role, which make them to see just spesific type of informations?
Here is my problem.
The customers can book an appointment and my empoyees cancel the appointment. After that they using the email or customer adress to contact them and making an new appointment outside my website. In this case I can't charge them for the arrangement. (arrangement fee)
There should be just the information, of the customers name, time, date and place. Not more.
I also need the option, that customers can choose an individually place for there appointment. Because some vendor offers a visiting on a customers choosen individual place (e.g. at home or office of the customers)
Looking for your reply:)
Happy new year all
Hello Martin,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Yes, for that purpose, you could give those employees an employee role in Amelia and they will only be able to see the appointments/events that are assigned to them and will not be able to access the other ones.
Hope this helps you.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Hey Uroš,
thank you for your reply. I already discovered this feature and it is great. But your answer didn't my question.
I want to limit the information that my employee can see about that appointment. They should be able to see the place and timeframe but not the email or phonenumber of the customers. I wont that they can contact them. I am afraid to lose my commision, if the contact them directly (outside of my website). It should stay on my website.
If it is needed, I had to contact them and not my employee / vendors. I planed a multivendor site, so only admins / webmaster should have access to all informations about the appointment.
Another question. Can I use a OTP service to verify a customers phone number? Sadly I already having some fake orders and I want reduce them of a minimum with a "message verification service" (like cloud OTP) of there number.
Thank you for your help :)
Hello Martin,
Thank you for clearing that up.
Can you please let me know if you want this to be restricted from the front-end or the back-end view of the employee?
In regards to the message verification service, we don't currently have this feature in Amelia, but perhaps you can make it work with a third-party plugin.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind Regards,

Hey Uroš,
I want that feature in the Front-end or the employee UI on Amelia.com cause my employee want to manage their appointments from your website. This is easier for them than the login on my site.
Oh that would not be a Deal breaker without the verification system, but nice to have (without a plugin)
Regards and thx for the help
Hello Martin,
Thank you for clearing that up.
There is an option to hide the information from the employee using CSS. I could provide you with that CSS one you need when you set up a plugin.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
