    When my clients are booking a service, I need them to fill in their : 
    - first name
    - last name
    - tel
    - mail
    - date of birth
    - reason why they come
    I can't find the place where to put those question boxes.
    Could you help me please?

    second question : in my test page, I am trying to display all the events in a monthly calendar view ([ameliaevents type=calendar]). but it doesn't seem to work. The list display works though.

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    In regards to your first question, you can achieve that with custom fields in Amelia.

    In regards to the event calendar form issue, please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see, and resolve the issue. 

    We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties. 

    You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Thank you very much for you reply.

    Everything works fine. I removed all the bookings on recurring events and the problem is solved.

    My only issue now is when I display the calendar view : https://www.espacesanterra.fr/test-calendrier/

    1- I would like to make the right column disapear. I know I managed to have only the calendar view in the page once but I don't know the shortcode only for the calendar (with no right column)

    2- I would like to have a preview of at least 3 events per day on the calendar display. Is it possible to reduce the letters to make the other events appear?


    You can remove my previous tickets but keep this one opened if ok for you

    You're welcome, i am happy to help.

    For the time being, that is an "emergency solution" to remove the tickets of recurring events,

    but our devs should fix that bug very soon.

    2. For removing the "upcoming Events" on the right side of the Calendar,

    you can add this CSS to the page :

    Custom code needs to be applied to the page where the booking form is. Depending on what you're using (Gutenberg blocks, or some page builder), adding the CSS or JS can be done in a few different ways. 

    If you need help with adding custom CSS to the page, please take a look at this article.


    3. I would like to have a preview of at least 3 events per day on the calendar display. Is it possible to reduce the letters to make the other events appear?


    I tried my best with some custom CSS, but i am not achieving the other Events appear on the days where it says "3 Events" and similar, 

    even though i have shrinked the font very much :

    Here are the CSS selectors that you can use to manipulate the font sizes inside these elements, 

    if you wish you can try to experiment with it and see if you can get better results :

    As you can see, it is not as easy as it seemed at first.

    At this time, we will not be able to achieve this goal - but i like this idea for future improvements,

    so if you can be so kind to add this as an improvement suggestion for our developers 

    and they will do their best to work on adding a customization option for setting how many Events should be visible on each day of the Calendar.

    I can't promise an ETA, though.

    Dear Milos, 

    1 - When the employees create events, the can not put their name in the "staff" field. 

    Consequently they can not see the event appear in their employee panel. I have to add their name manually on my admin management panel.

    Is it normal? Is there a way to add to them the possibility to have access to the staff choice?

    2 - They also can't cancel or delete events. Same question, can they have access to do that?

    3 - When the pros, in their employee panel try to add participants to their events, they can not add a new one. The only have the choice to pick already existing clients. 

    However sometimes it is new ones. How can we do to add clients?

     4 - (linked to the point 2 of our precedent exchanges) I again have the same problem as before : in my calendar display page, I am trying to display all the events in a monthly calendar view ([ameliaevents type=calendar]). but it doesn't seem to work, the calendar doesnt load. The list display works though.

    Sorry for the waiting time.

    1. Regarding the employee creating new Events, and adding themself as Staff, this is possible.

    For example, i just made a couple of tests.

    If i go to this Employee Panel, logged as an Employee, and my employee adds a new Event >

    we see this "Organizer" checkbox.

    If you hover with the mouse, there is this tooltip that explains  is.

    - If he chooses himself as Organizer, ticks this box,   then he will not be Staff.

    So, if i tick this box, this employee will be the Organizer.

    But, if we untick the box, then if i log back as Administrator at the back-end, i notice this employee is automatically added as "Staff" :

    So, if they want to see this Event in their Employee Panel,  they can just untick that "Organizer" box during Event creation, and they will be automatically assigned as the Staff.

    The same behaviour is if an Employee creates it from the back-end ( if they have a WP User with the Employee role connected with the Amelia Employee).

    -

    Then later, if additional Staff is needed, unfortunately, Employees can not add other Employees as additional Event Staff;

    only Amelia Manager or WP Administrator have this permission.

    Let me know if you have any suggestion how we might improve this, or if anything is not clear

    2. You are correct.

    At the moment, the employees are not able to cancel an Event, and they can not delete Events.

    Only Amelia Manager can cancel Events, but Managers can not delete them,

    only an Administrator can delete things in Amelia.

    You can see more about current permissions for all user roles here.


    3. Correct. Employees are not able to add new customers, only Amelia Manager and Admin can do this.


    4. Regarding the Event Calendar issue, yes - i can see there is an "invalid key" error in your Amelia database.

    7303588554.pngI see that you still have an old Amelia version, which had this bug,  but our developers have fixed this bug in the latest couple of versions.

    Can you please update your Amelia to the latest version, also make sure to purge cache of the site,

    and let me know if that fixes this issue?

    I don't know if the following bug is linked to the previous but I have an issue displaying page 2 of the calendar on this page : https://www.espacesanterra.fr/cours-collectifs/

    and page 3 of the calendar on this page https://www.espacesanterra.fr/agenda/

    After looking on the back office, it looks like it concerns events between feb 18th and feb 23rd. And when I go to "events" on the back office, Amelia doesn't want to show those ones (especially the ones on the feb 21st).

    When I log on my employee pannel there is the same problem : I can access my events except the feb 21st date that logs me out.

    Do you know why and can you help please?

    If needed, we can delete all the events or the bookings of the events of the day of feb 21st and re-create them. 

    I just need to have a list of what have been deleted.

    Hi, Elly

    I am very happy to report that a senior colleague from our 2nd level has installed the  Database My Admin plugin on your site, and he was able to remove the faulty tickets that were causing this issue.

    ( Later on, we removed that, when he was finished)

    Now we tried to filter different date ranges, from 2022, 2023, and 2024  to see if we can trigger the error,

    and we are not able to, so it seems it has been completely fixed.

    After updating the latest version of Amelia, we can not access to information on our employee panel anymore.

    Is it normal? Can you help me resolve this issue?

    Nothing appears now when we are connected, no date ranges or anything that we can select.

    Hi, Elly.

    We have feedback from our developers.

    Basically, the Employee Panel was not intended to be used as two Panels placed/combined together on a same page in this way.

    But, we have still created a task for our developers, this will be considered as a bug,

    because we wish to allow users the option to have this use-case.

    The developers will do their best to make a fix as soon as possible that will allow using two Employee Panels on a page.

    I hope they will implement a fix for that in one of the upcoming updates, but i can't guarantee an exact ETA.

    If they notify me that they made a fix in between updates, i will make sure to send it to you.

    For the time being, if you can please remove one of the Panels and use one Employee Panel on the site.


    2. In regards to those Console errors i found for the Events loading on the Panel,

    this has already been recognised by our devs before and they are already close to finishing a fix for that issue.

    The fix should be added as part of the upcoming Update.

    The ETA is planned to be sometime next week,  but we can't say the exact day and time,

    because there are some unpredictable factors at play;

    our QA Testing Team needs to test all the new improvements and fixes,

    to make sure that any core changes do not have a negative effect on any other plugin functionalities before it is officially released.

    As mentioned before, it is best to check our changeLog periodically and also if you activated the plugin, it should notify you that an update is released in the plugins list on WordPress.
