Please check out these instructions that explain how to create a template for the Report Builder.
If you need to create a report with a filtered version of the table, you can enable this in the second step – in the Report Builder Wizard of our plugin: 'settings and variables' :
Report data filtering – this checkbox is visible only if you did choose a wpDataTable data source on previous step. If this is checked, the report will always contain only the rows that are currently visible in the wpDataTable when it’s placed on the same page, in the same order. So if a table is sorted, filtered, etc., the rows will be used in the report same as they appear on the page. If this checkbox is unchecked, or if the wpDataTable isn’t present on the same page with Report controls, whole table will be used in report every time. Important notice: if the table has more rows that are currently visible, the invisible ones won’t be used in the report if the follow table filtering – to use them you would need to select “All” in wpDataTables “Show … rows” dropdown on the front-end.
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

I have escalated this with our 2nd level Team, they are going over all the details you provided
and they will advise us what will be the best approach to achieve your goal.
I will let you know if they need any further clarification/details or access from your end.
Thank you for your patience, as soon as they advise we will report back immidiately.
Apologies, i should have asked for this access actually right away.
Could you please provide us with access to your WP-Admin, so that we can take a look at how you configured the source table - please point us also to the Report ID.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

And if you can send us your Template for the report ( Word or Excel file that you use), please?
If Ticksy won't allow you to send the file type, you can wrap it in a zipped file,
or upload and send me a link to weTransfer.
Then our 2nd level can go over your setup and they will advise. Thank you

Let me know if this helped?
If not, can you please elaborate a bit more, i presume that you have a table as a data source for the report?
Can you show me some screenshots of that table,
and which row are you trying to choose,
or which rows by date?
If the data has any sensitive information, please mark reply as PRIVATE.
Thank you
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hi Milos.
I already read all the documentation, section by section, and i just followed the guideline.
So i downloaded one of your templates just to see if it was working, but I'm probably doing something wrong, as it dosent show the value of the row.
If you want to create an invoice from 1 specific row sort it by date, or invoice number.
If you have a table where it shows you 10 different orders, you only want to create invoice for row 1, but not for row 2, 3, 4, and so on.
But in my case, I'm trying to generate a report for the collection.
the tables is made, so there is admin table that can see all data, and a user time that only can see his own rows.
Instead of an invoice, i need to generate a report for one collection that include;
Gruppe1stk (
Person og Varevogns DækGruppe2
Tracktor og Maskin DækGruppe3
Lastvogns DækCollection Date =
IndsamlingsDato::
report date
Indberetnings Dato::But i doesn't pick any data from these fields?? and also wonder how to select a specific date for the report.
It would be great if you could link to a video to follow step by step, to understand it better.
Okay, i managed to get the correct data, but how do i select a specific row?
When i click the download button, then it download data from the rows, 1, 2 ,3 ,4, 4, 5, 6,
But i only want a report for row 1, or row 2, or row 3, in separate reports.
w
Okay, now it works, or not..
When i filter the table to show rows from id 14, i get all data out, but it dosent look good.
Anyway, in most cases people just need to download a report for a single row (Collection)
And then its look like this:
why does this happen??
