We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
Happy New Year to all your team !
We contact you because we meet several issues with Amelia :
- Firstly, we configured some cron tasks for appointments. Everything is OK for us on the server, but our customer, but clients do not always receive the notifications. However, we have configured the tasks well by following the procedures.
- Then, we see many delays on the module. For example, it is impossible for us to send test emails because the plugin is very slow and causes the page to crash.
Could you please help us ?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards.
Hello Lecaille,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We apologize for the slightly late reply, we did not work the previous few days due to public holidays.
Both of these issues are not related to Amelia. Cron is not Amelia's product it is a WordPress feature and it is set in your server by you or better yet your hosting provider.
If cron is not sending properly for this you need to contact your hosting provider so that they can check what is happening on the server.
As for speed this also depends on your hosting provider and your package. Amelia is not SaaS product so that its speed depends in our servers. Amelia is plugin for WordPress and the speed of Amelia and your site depends on the data that is pulled and your package at your hosting provider.
The slow load can be caused by a lot of things - the number of appointments you have, the number of customers, the number of employees, etc.
As for the speed of Amelia itself, we cannot influence it because Amelia is not SaaS and the speed of your site and Amelia depends on the package you have with your hosting provider.
This is related to your package with your hosting provider because each page opens and loads for a very long time. Neither of these two issues is related to Amelia.
It could be caused by the amount of other data you have on the page.
If you on a dedicated, or a shared hosting. Can you increase the php_memory_limit on your site?
If you're not sure how to do that, you can reach out to your hosting provider.
Please check out our demo sites (link) and see how the plugin should behave on a site with dedicated hosting and good server performance.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best.
Have a nice day.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]
