Customer Panel and User Roles

I have enabled the setting “Automatically create Amelia Customer user”

I have enabled the customer panel for the Amelia Customer role in the settings

I have created a page and placed the Customer Panel shortcode in that page

I have added the Amelia Customer role to all my existing wordpress users

I logged in as a test user and visited the the customer panel page. I was then prompted for a password which of course I don't have as this user has yet to make a booking on Amelia - see attached screenshot.

I thought that the Customer Panel would display for all users with the Amelia Customer role, even if they had not yet made a booking?

I can confirm that once one of my users, who already has the Amelia Customer role assigned, makes a booking, then the control panel appears perfectly without the password prompt.

    Can you help?

    Hello Rick,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Yes, that is how Amelia is designed. If a customer did not make a booking in Amelia he can not access the customer panel. Only when a booking is made then they can access their profile.

If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,
