The special days feature is not working specifically on the employee front end panel. I have the option selected in Role Settings for employees to be able to set their own 'Special Days' and I can see that when I am logged in to the employee frontend panel, however it just doesn't work.
If you add a special day and select the day, time and services then click 'Save Special Day' you can see it listed, but as soon as you click 'Save Changes' at the bottom the special day disappears, it doesn't display on the front end if you refresh or on the backend.
The only way I can get Special Days to work is if you add them on the backend, then they show up in the Employee Panel but you can't edit them from the frontend, you just get the same issue.
Just to check I tried changing the work hours, services etc from the Employee Panel frontend and that is all working fine it is only Special Days.
Just so you know what I am trying to achieve, I need an employee to be able to add Special Days at the start of each week, because their hours change every week so using the 'Work Hours' option is not going to work because they change weekly.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
We just got the feedback from our colleagues and they have told us that this seems to be a minor bug. We have forwarded this to our developers so that they can inspect it and resolve it. Hopefully, this will be fixed in one of the future updates.
Thanks for the update I appreciate it. I expect you don't know when the updates will be issued? This problem means I actually can't use Amelia for the application I needed it which is unfortunate as I use Amelia on numerous projects and I'm normally really pleased with it.
Are there any suggested work arounds until an update is issued?
Unfortunately, we do not have an eta for this at this time. We have just forwarded it to our developers, and they work on the issue in emergency-based cases. But you can create special days from the back end until the issue with the employee panel is resolved. Hope this helps.
