We need help with displaying services for membership subscription
Since there's no built in subscription we are trying to manually work around this by using a membership plugin. Essentially we need to create two types of services regular and for members. Then there's also the limitation that we can only have one level of categories.
How can we work around this to display the ability to book for services under multiple categories one one page. We do not want to have to create separate pages for each category. We are just trying to have two separate pages for member and non member. But within each there are still different service categories.
It will be helpful if we have the ability to add another level of categories or have the option to select multiple categories when displaying a booking page.
Another question, is it possible to assign services to a customer so they can book for that service without payment?
Amelia doesn't yet have a membership feature, but it will be developed as a part of the Developer license (maybe even as part of the Pro license) in the future.
Any membership plugin (like MemberPress, Ultimate Member, etc.) allows you to create pages that are inaccessible to some (for example non-logged-in users). You can also create custom logic, so a user can access this page once a month (for example), but we're not sure about that, since we don't work with Membership plugins.
At the moment we can't give you more precise information because as we said we don't work with membership plugins.

We have 11 employees and if we have to close for an hour or two for a staff meeting, we have to go in and manually update the hour for each employee which is tedious. Isn't there a way to globally block time on the calendar?
There is currently no such option as you would have to do it for each employee individually but it is a great suggestion and this should be implemented as soon as possible.

We have recently noticed that our customer panel is NO Longer working. We had it set up before where customer creates account on our Wordpress site before they book their appointment so that our Wordpress login and Amelia are synced. But now it is no longer working and requiring to 'Send An Access Link'!!. See screenshot
What is the cause of this? And how do we fix this?? It is quite frustrating
We have checked this option but it is requiring user to login again even though they're already logged into the Wordpress. It was working flawlessly before, something has recently changed right?
The user is supposed to be automatically logged in to Amelia when they're logged into Wordpress. It doesn't make sense to have two separate logins they should be synced. How do we fix this?
In addition, we are having issues with Amelia Manage not being able to book appointment. I thought Amelia Manager user role can schedule appointments? Unfortunately it is not working for us. Please check and advise.
Hello Uros! Yes please can you assist to install the update. I have tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin but it does not prompt update. I have also tried to activate the Amelia code and it still does not prompt update. What information do you need to update the plugin?
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

Hello thank you, it worked. The other question I have, how do I make a day that we are typically closed AVAILABLE. For example we are usually closed on Sunday but one Sunday we will be open. Where do I go to make that modification to the schedule.
Also how do we upgrade our license? All the new feature updates are being done on the pro license and not the basic. I feel like we are getting robbed and we paid for the lifetime license :(
You can change the schedule for a specific date with the Special day feature. You can find that on the Amelia/Employees/Special days page.
Directly upgrading Lifetime licenses purchased after June 1st, 2021 is currently not possible, but you can, of course, acquire a new license and receive a refund for the previous purchase. You would need to purchase a new Lifetime License and reach out to us through a ticket, posting both purchase codes in a PRIVATE ticket, and our support managers will refund the amount of the originally purchased license retroactively.
Please check your receipt for the old purchase and verify that the card number or the PayPal account you used is still the same.
How can we set our calendar to only show from our start to close time. Currently the calendar shows from 12am to midnight so we need to scroll all the way down to see appointments very inefficient.
Hi Uros, for example when we open the calendar we see 12am on the calendar and we have to scroll all the way down to 11am when our spa is open. We don't need to see 12am in the midnight on the calendar. So we want the calendar to only show the hours that we are open so we are not scrolling and scrolling. Please see the screenshot to see what I'm referring to.
Most likely in your backend option "Allow admin to book appointment at any time" is enabled (Amelia - Settings - Role Settings - Admin), since you have this option enabled, you can book at any time (working hours, special days, and days off for all employees will be ignored).
For everyone else, besides admin, it looks the way you set it up.

1) We have Amelia services linked to woo commerce products but we also sell those products as gift cards as well. Does it affect any functionality if we have it setup like this or do you recommend we create separate products for Amelia and the virtual woocommerce products. We have setup this way so that it keeps service reviews all together on one page
2) We have the basic lifetime Amelia membership which does not include the cart feature but I noticed that we can direct customers to cart where they can continue shopping and add additional appointments. Is there any problems with using it this way? Essentially this seems to be a workaround to allow customers to book additional appointments but is there any system related problems with doing this?
When you have multiple questions or issues which are for different subjects/topics,
please open a new ticket for each subject, and we will help/advise more effectively.
In that way, issues and questions that are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other users or our support agents can find them easily.
Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket for the reasons described already.

For this purpose, you will need to reach out to WooCommerce support, as the functionality you are referring to—linking Amelia services to WooCommerce products and selling them as gift cards—is handled by WooCommerce, not Amelia. Since it's outside of Amelia's scope, their support team will be able to assist you with any issues or recommendations for managing products, and gift cards, and keeping reviews consolidated on one page.
2. Please check the following video for this purpose on how to disable the option of multiple items in WC cart. The page is Amelia/Settings/Payments.
1) My comment is not about selling gift cards per say but wondering if selling gift cards with the same products Amelia is linked to will create any PROBLEMS WITH AMELIA?

For that purpose, you need to enable the "Require password for login" option on the Amelia/Settings/Roles settings/Customer.

1) We have Amelia services linked to woo commerce products but we also sell those products as gift cards as well. Does it affect any functionality if we have it setup like this or do you recommend we create separate products for Amelia and the virtual woocommerce products. We have setup this way so that it keeps service reviews all together on one page
2) We have the basic lifetime Amelia membership which does not include the cart feature but I noticed that we can direct customers to cart where they can continue shopping and add additional appointments. Is there any problems with using it this way? Essentially this seems to be a workaround to allow customers to book additional appointments but is there any system related problems with doing this?

For this purpose, you will need to reach out to WooCommerce support, as the functionality you are referring to—linking Amelia services to WooCommerce products and selling them as gift cards—is handled by WooCommerce, not Amelia. Since it's outside of Amelia's scope, their support team will be able to assist you with any issues or recommendations for managing products, and gift cards, and keeping reviews consolidated on one page.
2. Please check the following video for this purpose on how to disable the option of multiple items in WC cart. The page is Amelia/Settings/Payments.

1) My comment is not about selling gift cards per say but wondering if selling gift cards with the same products Amelia is linked to will create any PROBLEMS WITH AMELIA?
2) I am so sorry but I don't understand the video, did. you add a code or is that a setting in Amelia? Can you please list the steps that you used?
