Not nearly as sleek as the old one, it now appears to be in a box which is white or changeable but no longer blends into the background and completely throws off the look of our website, the photos are huge and not nearly as nice looking as the old form and are 2 wide rather than 3. It is no where near as functional as the old one.
Is there anyway to transfer all of our colours and designs from the old catelogue form to the new one without having to manually build it?
And can we remove the box from around it?
Have attached and image showing the 2 catelogues so you can see how much better the old design is and then explain how we get the new one to look the same as the old.
hey I don't know you know or not but I think you should sit and try diffrent color combination because I can change my new catalog color and all you just need to try diffrent options
I know how to change the colour but i want the box surrounding the catelogue to go so the catelogue blends to my background. just like the old catelogue did
Red line showing the background colour, we dont want a seperate background, we like the way the old catelogue worked where all the categories and services were placed onto our old background (see 2nd attachment)
yellow box showing its only 2 wide, and we want it to be 3 wide as per 2nd photo
Custom code needs to be applied to the page where the booking form is. Depending on what you're using (Gutenberg blocks, or some page builder), adding the CSS or JS can be done in a few different ways.
If you need help with adding custom CSS to the page, please take a look at this article.
If you need help with adding custom JS to the page, please take a look at this article.
Thats not overly helpful, we have so many pages to add it to, its unfeasable. the category option was so much prettier before, I have attached a screen shot showing how much slicker the old view is. There surely is a way to make it look like this without custom CS code on every page. We are not web developers, we use Amelia and bought the product because we were told we didnt need any web developement skills and now you are asking us to enter custom code.
See attached photo, the new booking form works fine and we want to change over but unfortunately we cant and will need to cancel our account if we cannot get the design sleeker like the old category short code
See attachment to show how lovely the old design VS the clumpyness of the new design.
Also, new design is 2 services wide and we need it 3 services wide?
Since WordPress 4.7, users can now add custom CSS directly from the WordPress admin area. This is super-easy, and you will be able to see your changes with a live preview instantly.
First, you need to head over to the Appearance » Customize page from your WordPress dashboard.
This will launch the WordPress theme customizer interface.
You will see your site’s live preview with a bunch of options on the left pane. Click on the ‘Additional CSS’ tab from the left panel.
The tab will slide to show you a simple box where you can add your custom CSS. As soon as you add a valid CSS rule, you will be able to see it applied on your website’s live preview pane.
You can continue adding custom CSS code until you are satisfied with how it looks on your site.
Don’t forget to click on the ‘Publish’ button on the top when you are finished.
Note: Any custom CSS that you add using theme customizer is only available with that particular theme. If you would like to use it with other themes, then you will need to copy and paste it to your new theme using the same method.
I tested the custom CS but it still; doesnt look great (left is custom CS and right is the current view)
It also makes the screen unresponsive when the size is cut down as you can see, all the boxes start over lapping each other, there is also still some weird outline around the catelogue and there is also white around the top of the photos so they are not sitting flush to the page like it all seemlessly blends as per the old catelogue

Unfortunately, there is no other option to change the view of the new catalog booking form to suit your needs, and I hope that it will be worked on in the future.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello Francesca,
Thank you for reaching out to us and for your feedback, we appreciate it.
I will have your feedback passed to our management and hope that it will improve in the future as it is currently in the beta phase.
There is no option to transfer customization from the old catalog form to the new one as you would have to customize it from scratch.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,

Anyway to make the background the same as our own rather than having to pick a specific colour?
And how do we display 3 services in a row rather than 2?
Hello Francesca,

Can you please elaborate on what you are referring to and I will assist you with this?

Hi
We dont currently use any custom code on our website and the catelogue goes onto nearly every page
we just want the new catelogue to be as nice looking as the old catelogue
Hello Francesca,
The only option to apply this is with CSS that I provided below.
Please let me know if you were able to add that code to the front-end.
Looking forward to your reply.
