I offer yoga classe on several different dates. I create one Event with different dates. And I would like the customer to be able to:
1/ choose a single date (or several at the same time) 2/ pay for this date (or these dates if he choose several date)
For the moment when I go to the frontend the Event is shown on the different dates. And that's good.
when I want to book I don't have the possibility to choose the dates. And the price is displayed for all the courses when I thought the price was for 1 course only.
Can you explain how I can do that please? If it is possible or do I have to create Event by event even if it is the same course?
But maybe it's a mistake. As I said before I'd like to offer different Yoga classes on different dates.
So I create Events with Multi day Subscription. But the customer cannot choose a date among the others for a course offered in one event.
My first question is : is it possible to do so or do I have to create as many events as dates ?
My second question is : I'm using woo commerce for the payment. And even though I am using different woocommerce attributes for choosing dates (screenshot1), it is not showing on my woo commerce product when I go through the calendar or the event list (screenshot2)
Then my third question is about the package.I would like to offer packages of 10 lesson sessions. But that doesn't seem possible via Events. But just via Services. How to link services with events ?
thank you for your quick answer because it is a bit urgent.
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
We have now covered multiple questions on same ticket, but for the future, please note :
When you have questions or issues which are not related to the title of the active ticket, please open a new ticket, and we will help you there. In that way, issues and questions which are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily. Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket because of the reasons that are described already.
Thank you for understanding.
1. I wish to point out that Amelia does not have any way to make subscriptions or recurring payments.
A Membership feature will be developed as a part of the Developer license (maybe even as part of the Pro license) in the future, but I can't say an exact ETA on it.
I can suggest a workaround.
For example, you can set up a Membership plugin, I believe some of them have a recurring payment feature built-in, and some can be combined with WooCommerce to set up users to pay for certain Membership levels.
Then, you could use the "User role Editor" plugin to create additional user roles, only for certain customers. With the Membership plugin, you could limit access to certain pages for certain user roles.
For example, a custom role "VIP" who paid for a certain subscription would have access to page 1 where you can place a shortcode for a free service/package offered for them.
Then, another custom role "Level 1" would have access to page2 where [ameliacatalog package=2] is placed, which would have different prices, and so on...
This way, you will be able to set different taxes and other WooCommerce options for each product and each service/event in Amelia.
After setting the product, you can set the Tax and/or invoice option, or if you don’t need either of these options, you can start using the WooCommerce payment methods
1. We have recently updated our Documentation page that explains how you can connect the statuses between Amelia and WooCommerce;
2. You can also add taxes, and invoices if you wish, with WooCommerce as well;
3. In the “Redirect page” option you can choose to which page customers will be redirected to after they finish their booking successfully. If you select the “WooCommerce Thank you page”, your users will stay on the last page of WooCommerce, and if you chose the “Amelia Add to Calendar page”, your customers will be redirected to the Congratulations page in Amelia, with the option to add their appointment or event to their calendar. -
If you can please check it out, and let me know if anything was not clear and if you have further questions about that.
6.
For passing the booking details to WooCommerce Cart/Checkout,
In Amelia/setting/payments, if you scroll down when WooCommerce payment gateway is enabled,
you will see the option to Set MetaData and Description:
Just enter the placeholder for the information that you want to be shown there and that is it.
-
Here is our Test example.
Let's say we have this Custom Field 1, that we labeled "Delivery address".
A customer comes to book, fills this address as something random as "Los Angeles street 1",
and if we put this placeholder for custom field 1 , in the Metadata of WooCommerce, it will appear on the Cart and on the Checkout:
-
As you see, when we hover the mouse over each custom_field placeholder, it will reveal the label of the Custom Field, to make it easier to see which ones we need.
-
Let us know if that covers all the information you need,
and if anything is not clear please don't hesitate to ask.
Hi there,
I bought your plugin the Basic version.
I offer yoga classe on several different dates. I create one Event with different dates. And I would like the customer to be able to:

2/ pay for this date (or these dates if he choose several date)

Can you explain how I can do that please? If it is possible or do I have to create Event by event even if it is the same course?
Thank's for your answer
Well no answer... so I upgrade the plugin to PRO.
But maybe it's a mistake. As I said before I'd like to offer different Yoga classes on different dates.

Hi, Dillon

Here are more details about our Package feature.
2. for Events, customers are not able to choose the dates and times.
You can create an Event as multi-day , then if a customer buys a ticket , it will cover all days of that particular Event.
If you make a recurring Event - Amelia treats each occurrence as a separate Event.
Please check more details here where we explain the difference between a multi-day Event and a recurring Event
Recurring VS multi-day events
3. The only way for a customer to be able to choose the date and time is for appointments from Services.
If you wish to offer them to be able to book multiple appointments in "one go"/ one booking Form,
then you have to use the Package of Services.
At this time it is not available for Basic licences - so it is good you upgraded to Pro licence.
4. Unfortunately, Events are not possible to be placed in a Package,
and Events can not be connected to Services in any way - they are completely separate/different type of bookings.
5. You said :
Even though I am using different woocommerce attributes for choosing dates,
it is not showing on my woo commerce product when I go through the calendar or the event list
-
-
I am sorry but i don't understand how did you create woocommerce attributes for choosing dates -
did you maybe use some WooCommerce add-on to make custom Cart/Checkout WooCommerce Fields?
A purchase like this will not be recorded in Amelia as a booking,
since it has not been input through Amelia's Form,
it will be as if a customer just bought a Woo Product on your site without Amelia.
-
If you wish to use the Amelia integration with WooCommerce, then you have to connect Woo product to a service/Event/ or Package in Amelia,
and the customer has to go through Amelia's Booking shortcode /Form in order for this purchase/booking to be recorded in Amelia.
-
We will now explain in more detail how the logic between Amelia bookings and WooCommerce Products works:
-
Once you enable WooCommerce as a payment method, in Amelia settings/Payment settings,
a new Woo Product is automatically created , named "Appointment".
You will be able to see it in back-end of WordPress in WooCommerce/Products:
By default, all services/events/packages are connected to this WooCommerce product,
you are able to edit it/rename it, etc.
You are also able to add multiple products and choose which product is connected to which Service/Event/Package.
In Amelia, go to the Services page, edit one of the services ( or Packages or Events)
and you will see Settings/Payments tab.
Here you will see the option “Select WooCommerce product” where you can choose a product that will be connected to this service.
The same applies to Events.
This way, you will be able to set different taxes and other WooCommerce options for each product and each service/event in Amelia.
After setting the product, you can set the Tax and/or invoice option, or if you don’t need either of these options, you can start using the WooCommerce payment methods

If you select the “WooCommerce Thank you page”, your users will stay on the last page of WooCommerce, and if you chose the “Amelia Add to Calendar page”, your customers will be redirected to the Congratulations page in Amelia, with the option to add their appointment or event to their calendar. -
All of this is explained on this page - https://wpamelia.com/woocommerce-integration/
If you can please check it out, and let me know if anything was not clear and if you have further questions about that.
