We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi
We use Amelia to book an arena space for horse events. As the arena is one space, we have all services taken or run by a single employee. As it stands, there are services set up for 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours etc - but I know now we can configure a single service to have variable duration.
For January & February 2023, we want to offer customers a special offer of booking a 1 hour service on Monday-Wednesday between 9am and 3pm at a reduced price.
For this, I created a special offer service and assigned it to the same employee as all other available services. I then created special days for the employee in January and February, for the 9am-3pm time period and only "reflecting" on the new special offer service.
This seemed to work as the special offer only showed for the dates and times required. However, creating the special days also blocked any other services being booked on those days - so a customer couldn't book a 2 hour slot for example at 5pm on any of these special days even though the special period only covered 9am to 3pm.
I'm just wondering if I want to use special days, do I need to have a period for the special offer but also add a period for the whole day reflecting on all other services as well? ie
02.01.23 to 04.01.23 - 9am to 3pm, Special Offer service only
02.01.23 to 04.01.23 - 9am to 9pm, All other services
And then repeat for all Monday-Wednesday periods in Jan and Feb?
Thanks again
Peter
Hello Peter,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
For those special days, you can create modified working hours:
02.01.23 to 04.01.23 - 9 am to 3 pm, Special Offer service only and other services
02.01.23 to 04.01.23 - 3 pm to 9 pm, All other services
Hope this helps you.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
