It seems i have found a solution.
You can add this custom CSS either to only one table, in the Table's Customize/Custom CSS, in the back-end,
or if you want this style applied for all tables, you can paste this in your main plugin settings/Custom JS and CSS/Custom CSS :

This will not be affected by wpDataTable plugin updates, because it will be saved as CSS, so you don't have to repeat anything during updates.
