When the same client wants to book a double session, the system prevents a back-to-back booking if there if a buffer time configured for the service type. I cannot use the Duration & Pricing option from the services config screen because that will cause a double charge for the client when they book from a package.
Packages also don't allow for creating a repeat appointment which is a problem. It may allow it on the booking form at the time of purchase, but it does not allow it on the back-end from the admin panel. The Repeat Appointment option is missing when booking from a package.
This issue with the buffer configuration is causing gaps of unusable time in my calendar that can't be booked by clients from the front end, and it prevents me from booking any other appointments in those buffer times. So it would be a reasonable interim solution if the system allowed admins to also book in buffer time slots, the way it allows us to override business hours and employee availability when booking from the back-end.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
