    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

First of all please check if you are using the latest version of Amelia (see attachment).

If you activated the purchase code in Amelia Settings/Activation, the update should be offered in the Plugins section. On some WordPress installations, you need to deactivate the plugin first in order to see the update offered, so please try that.

If that doesn't work, try going through Dashboard/Updates. See if you can update the plugin through there, and if that doesn't work either, you can follow the manual update procedures in the article linked below:

Updating the plugin to the latest version

After that, please try sending an SMS to your number to send a test notification to check if it worked or not.

Please note: SMS often has a status queued but is actually sent.

    It is not refreshed automatically.

You have to press the little refresh icon next to the "queued" status, to see the actual message status.

If it does not work, can you please reach out to the DevOps of your server (or reach out to your hosting provider, and ask them to ask the DevOps) if they can ping our server?

    ping smsapi.wpamelia.com

Also, can they whitelist this IP address: 116.203.87.139?

I look forward to your reply.

    Kind Regards,

    Uros Jovanovic

I noticed that the concern came from the fact that the SMS only activates when the status changes to "approved" except when a client makes an appointment, the status is "pending", and THEN they receive the famous SMS asking to confirm and THEN I change the status to approved.
So I want the sms to be sent even if the status is "pending", how to do?

Hello, I have a lot of trouble with the Amélia module, as explained in the previous email with the SMS that does not go out when the status is PENDING, there are days that are blocked for no reason. Like Sunday 4 which is currently blocked while I'm open from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. It becomes really problematic, at the price of the module, I would like you to look at where the problem comes from please.

    Hi, Promsy

    1. Thank you fort this clarification, now i understand what you want to achieve.

You want to have a scheduled reminder notification,

for appointments that are pending/ still not approved.

    -

When we create scheduled notifications, they are available only for approved appointments.

For example, when i try to make a new custom SMS template, if i choose "action triggered" , i can choose "pending"

    -

But, if we make Scheduled Notification,

it can only be "before the appointment",   "after the appointment" ,  "on the same day",

but currently, we can only create a reminder if the appointment is approved.

    -

I will check with our 2nd level Team if we have any kind of a workaround to make a scheduled reminder for "pending appointments", and we will come back to confirm that for you.

    2.

Yes.   You have disabled the setting i pointed out earlier, in Appointment settings/

    Allow booking below minimum capacity

    5203495455.png

When you disable this - the first customer who reserves a spot, it they fill in the minimum requirement capacity of a service, this time slot will close for any other customers,  even if it has more capacity left...

    -

If you enable to Allow booking below minimum,

then a customer can go to front-end, and they will be able to add themself in an existing appointment, if there is still capacity left.

    -

But from the back-end, it does not work like this.

I will elaborate how adding people to Group Appointment works in Amelia :

If you wish to add additional customers to an existing Appointment that still has free capacity slots,

It will not work by creating a new Appointment.

    - Basically, when a customer books an appointment, this appointment is already created;

then if we need to add additional customers into it from the back-end,

we have to edit this appointment to add customers this way :

    7953596474.png

    -

    - On the other hand, if a customer comes to book from the front-end, they can select the same time slot,

as long as there are free capacity slots remaining in the Group appointment

and if you enable "Allow booking below minimum capacity" in Appointment settings.

    -

Because from the front-end, Amelia will just add them to the existing appointment automatically,

while from the back-end,  if we say "create a new appointment",

Amelia thinks we want to start a completely new appointment,  rather than adding customers to an existing one.

This is currently Amelia's logic for adding people to group appointments from the back-end,

but if you have any suggestions on how we might improve that,

please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page

to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

    You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

    -

Let me know if that makes sense, and if you have any questions.smile.png

( We will report back to confirm point #1)

    Hi, Promsy

    I have confirmed about #1  ,

sorry to disappoint you, but currently we don't have any possibility of making scheduled reminders for pending appointments.

At this time it can only be set for approved appointments.

If you wish to see this option in the future,

please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page

to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

    2. Let me know if you have any questions for #2.
