    Hey Team,

    How can I book a customer appointment directly into pending status?  Sometimes customers want to book far in advance but our staff haven't always finalised their schedules that far in advance.  So it would be good to be able to book from the back end as a Manager or Administrator directly into pending status.  At this stage is seems I need to book the appointment as Approved, then I have to change the status afterwards in the Appointments screen.  This means that the customer will get the appointment confirmed notifications, then they'll get another notification directly afterwards saying it's pending.  This seem counter intuitive.  Is there something I'm missing?

    Hello Tara,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    You had a good idea it just needs different order. You need to go to settings/general settings and then set the general status for appointments as pending and then you book the appointment and after that, you need to set the general status for appointments to be approved.

    This is the best way to achieve what you need. This way the customer will get pending notification right away.
