We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Before I could present Amelia as a solution tool for a client's website, I needed clarity about the following issues. This is for a mental health clinic. First-time users fill out the intake form. Based on their requirements, they will be shown a selection of counsellors. They then book a single appointment or buy a package of multiple sessions. They pay for the entire package, but book a single appointment at a time.
I need to show a demo to the client as proof of concept that this works. My questions are
1. What forms do I need to use to integrate with Amelia?
2. Can I create sample employees (therapists in this case) and integrate their Google calendars within Amelia, so sample bookings can be demonstrated?
Hello Sandeepa,
Thank you for expressing interest in the Amelia plugin.
You can check one of our demo websites on the following link.
1. Can you please elaborate on this question?
2. With Google Synchronization, all employees in Amelia can sync their working schedule with their Google Calendar. Each appointment booked in Amelia will be added to their Google calendar with the customer added as a participant.
If Employee already has events in the Google calendar marked as busy, those will not be available for booking in Amelia – this will prevent overbooking. Rescheduling, canceling, or deleting the appointment needs to be done in Amelia. Suppose you reschedule the appointment in Google Calendar. In that case, that will not reflect in Amelia, but if you reschedule the appointment in Amelia, it will be updated in Google Calendar as well.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

I will elaborate on the form question.
There is a patient intake form on the website. With standard fields like name, email, phone, age, gender and reason for needing therapy (this is a mental health website).Based on the input the counsellor (employee) comes up. For which the patient can then book an appointment.
Can the native Amelia plugin do this, or will an external form be needed? If an external form is needed, which ones integrate with Amelia?
Hello Sandeepa,
Unfortunately, this cannot be configured in Amelia that way at the moment, as there is no option to add conditional logic to the custom fields.
I have passed this suggestion to our management and I hope that it will soon be implemented.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
