I really like the look of your appointment booking software and am considering a purchase.
I'm running a flying school where I would like regular students (registered users) to be able to book flying lessons in fixed time slots up to 3 months in advance. This looks very straightforward and easy to create.
However, I'd also like to release any unbooked time slots for members of the public (unregistered users) to book whenever the weather was suitable. This means I would need to be able to manually make those slots bookable at short notice (usually on the day itself). These slots will also need full payment at the time of the booking.
The regular student booking page and air experience bookings can be on separate pages, but they'll need to operate on the same calendar to prevent double-booking.
I've been looking through the documentation and I can't see a way of doing this. Can you suggest a method that would work for me, or do you think this is impossible at the moment?
Yes, with the "Special days" feature in Amelia, it is possible for employee/admin to set specific working hours for a specific date. This can be done on the Amelia/Employees page, "Special days" tab.

OK, I've gone ahead and bought a lifetime licence for Amelia and am setting it up. How can I prevent a specific service from being booked on normal working days? I want to allow users to book the service only on my "Special Days"?
Aha- don't worry; I worked out how to do it. For anyone else following this thread I was able to make the standard working hours for each employee available for specific services (the ones I wanted to be freely available). Then, using the Special Days tab I could override certain days to allow different extra services to be available. Many thanks for your help! I look forward to using Amelia. Dave.
